Music director SS Thaman is known for his ability to craft music that seamlessly balances scale with soul. With his latest release Oh Rama Shri Rama from the upcoming Sunny Deol-starrer Jaat, he once again proves why he continues to be one of the most dependable names in the industry.

While Jaat began its musical journey with the high-energy track Touch Kiya, Thaman takes a different route with Oh Rama Shri Rama—a devotional anthem that was released to mark the occasion of Ram Navami. The track showcases a very different mood, blending spirituality with cinematic grandeur in a way that feels authentic and emotionally resonant.

From the very first note, Thaman sets a tone that’s both powerful and serene. The composition is layered with traditional instrumentation, expansive choral arrangements, and a deep sense of reverence. It’s the kind of track that doesn’t just support a scene—it becomes an emotional pillar for it.

The vocals—led by Dhanunjay Seepana, Saketh Kommajosyula, Sumanas Kasula, Saatvik G Rao, and Vagdevi Kumara—add a grounded, earthy texture to the music. The lyrics by Adviteeya Vojjala and Sruthi Ranjani stay true to the devotional theme, adding depth and meaning to the stirring melody.

Visually, the song makes a strong impact. Set amidst a Ram Navami procession, it features Sunny Deol walking through a sea of lit diyas and chanting devotees, holding a bow in hand. The imagery is striking, and Thaman’s music gives it the emotional weight it deserves—making the sequence memorable not just for its visuals but for the feeling it evokes.

With Oh Rama Shri Rama, SS Thaman adds another compelling track to his diverse discography. More than just a song, it’s a reminder of how music—when done right—can enhance storytelling, connect with the audience on a deeper level, and leave a lasting imprint.

On the work front, SS Thaman has a packed year ahead. After Jaat, he’s composing for two big upcoming films — The Raja Saab starring Prabhas and OG starring Pawan Kalyan. Fans are eagerly waiting to see what musical magic he brings next.
