A French restaurateur and internationally respected hospitality professional, Guiraud brings decades of global experience influenced by the rich culinary and cultural traditions of Paris. Over the years, he has built a strong reputation for crafting immersive hospitality experiences that seamlessly integrate people, culture, and cuisine.
Guiraud’s career spans haute cuisine, hospitality education, operational leadership, and organizational development. He has been associated with Michelin-starred restaurants in France’s Pays Basque region and has contributed to acclaimed dining destinations across New Delhi and Goa. Known for combining European culinary precision with a nuanced understanding of local markets, he has consistently developed hospitality ventures that align design, culture, and operational excellence.
In India, Guiraud has played a pivotal role in several notable initiatives. He co-launched Manre Restaurant with Ramola Bachchan, supported the growth of the Olive Restaurant Group, and mentored emerging hospitality professionals as Director at Vatel Hotel & Tourism Business School, Gurugram. He later served as Director – People & Culture for Suryagarh Collection, where he strengthened organizational culture and enhanced service standards across the portfolio.
In his new role, Guiraud will oversee the next phase of growth at 1000 Island Hotels & Resorts, with a focus on people-centric leadership, refined service design, and authentic luxury experiences rooted in sustainability.
