New Delhi, April 28, 2025: The Federation of Hotel & Restaurant Associations of India (FHRAI) was proud to be a prominent partner in the ‘Job Mela/Placement Drive’ under Project Veerangna, organized by Delhi State Legal Services Authority (DSLSA), a transformative initiative aimed at rehabilitating legal services beneficiaries through vocational training and skill development.

Held on Tuesday, 22nd April 2025 at the Rouse Avenue Court Complex, New Delhi, the event marked a significant step towards empowering individuals with the tools and training required for a life of dignity, purpose, and self-reliance. As a representative body of the hospitality industry, FHRAI played a key role in supporting the programme, offering candidates not just theoretical learning but also critical insights drawn from real-world hospitality practices.

During the ceremony, participants who underwent intensive training at IHM PUSA, New Delhi were awarded certificates for their achievements. In a major boost to employment prospects, the industry partner gave 19 Letters of Intent to shortlisted candidates in programme organised by Delhi State Legal Services Authority (DSLSA) with the support of FHRAI.

The event saw active participation from reputed hospitality brands including Lemon Tree Hotels, ITC Hotels Limited, Par Anand Charitable Trust (PACT), Chhanav Foundation and The Lalit Hotels, reflecting the industry’s united commitment to inclusive workforce development.

Mr. K. Syama Raju, President of FHRAI, said, “The hospitality sector has long been a vehicle for inclusive growth and upward mobility. Our association with Project Veerangna a reflection of our belief in second chances and the transformative power of skill-building. FHRAI will continue to champion such initiatives that bring hope, dignity, and sustainable livelihood to those who need it most.”

Through its support to Project Veerangna, FHRAI reiterates its commitment to bridging social gaps, building a resilient hospitality workforce, and fostering meaningful partnerships for social impact.
