Mumbai, December 9, 2025: What if endings weren’t about loss, but about returning to where everything began? This profound idea sits at the core of Chupps’ latest multimedia campaign unveiling its 100% biodegradable Chupster range. Conceptualised by INTO Creative, the four-film series delivers a striking metaphor that links the natural cycle of life with the Chupster’s ability to fully biodegrade within 24 months of disposal. Through this evocative contrast, the campaign urges viewers to see sustainability as a return to nature’s original rhythm.
This ad series marks another milestone in Chupps’ mission of “designing for endings”—a philosophy that has shaped the brand’s innovations, from biodegradable billboards to eco-conscious footwear.
“Our belief at Chupps is that sustainability isn’t about doing less harm—it’s about restoring balance,” said Yashesh Mukhi, Founder, Chupps Footwear. “India’s consumer industry is expanding rapidly, as are the risks of environmental damage. We must take responsibility for the end-of-life of the products we create. The Chupster range is designed to return to the earth as naturally as we do, and this campaign expresses that truth in a raw, human and deeply moving way.”
Santosh Padhi (Paddy), Founder & Chief Creative Officer, INTO Creative, who wrote and co-directed the films, added, “Chupps has always led from the front in sustainability storytelling. Being fashionable means being bold. This biodegradable series is a major differentiator in the footwear category, and we needed a dramatic, unforgettable narrative to communicate that. We chose to blend the stark reality of funerals with fashion to drive home the message of a product truly designed to return to the earth.”
Paddy also acknowledged, “Without the creative collaboration of my dear friend Amol Jadhav and his outstanding production team, delivering these films under the constraints we faced would not have been possible.”
Shot across the scenic interiors of Satara, Maharashtra, the four ad films each carry a distinctly different tone while maintaining cinematic depth and authenticity. The soulful lyrics by the late Khwaja Fariduddin Ganjshakar further strengthen the emotional and philosophical weight of the narrative.
Launched on World Soil Day (5th December), the campaign will run across digital platforms, social media, and cinema screens through December and January, followed by community-driven engagements exploring the philosophy of designing for meaningful endings.
