Mumbai: Audiences have loved many Bollywood films based on courtroom dramas. From Damini to Jolly LLB, many films have provided audiences with entertainment as well as important messages. In this series, another courtroom drama is soon to hit the silver screen, titled ‘Kissa Court Kachahari Ka ‘. Versatile actor Sanjeev Jaiswal, who played the main villain Kasaab in Ram Gopal Varma’s film Attack of 26/11, plays the central role in this film, around whose character the entire story revolves.
The trailer of the film, which presents a new perspective on legal debates in court, has been well-received. Produced under the banner of Lovely Films, “Kissa Court Kachahari Ka ” is directed by Rajnish Jaiswal and produced by Arun Kumar. Releasing on March 13th, the film stars seasoned actors like Rajesh Sharma, Brijendra Kala, Sanjeev Jaiswal, and Anju Jadhav. The film was shot on real locations in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh.
Actor Sanjeev Jaiswal, who has worked with Nana Patekar, plays Deepak, a village boy. He gets married and moves to Meerut with his wife, where they search for a job. After months of not finding a job, Deepak, on the advice of a friend, starts driving an auto-rickshaw. One day, a young man from a wealthy family starts misbehaving with him, which Deepak protests, leading to a fight. At one point, he is taking Rajesh Sharma, playing a lawyer, to the station in his rickshaw. During the auto-rickshaw ride, the two converse and bond. Later, a turning point occurs, leaving the audience stunned. To see what happens next, you’ll have to wait until March 13, 2026, when the film releases in theaters.
Sanjeev Jaiswal is very excited about sharing the screen with Rajesh Sharma. He says that just as our characters have a rapport, we also developed a good rapport on set.
In addition to this film, Sanjeev Jaiswal’s upcoming projects include a web series and a film (Karma). He is playing the lead role of a gangster in the web series “STF: Tu Jeet Ke Liye Bana Hai”.
